The Boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake

Opened in summer of 2014, The Boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake is a 7,250-ft/1.37-mi scenic promenade boardwalk segment of the 10-mi Ann and Roy Butler Bike-and-Hike Trail.  Half of the boardwalk rest on land while the half hover over water and surrounding wetland.  Situated in the heart of Austin and along the Colorado River, it offered spectacular views of downtown and diverse distinctive Austin neighborhoods. 

Hours of operation and admission fees:

Open everyday 5:00 am to 12:00 am.  Close curfew 12:00 am to 5:00 am.
