Mau

MAU is a neighborhood restaurant serving traditional Vietnamese cuisine in a modern and relaxed setting. We have been a part of the Mission since 2012. In Vietnamese, the word “Mau” can mean many things: “model,” “archetype,” “color,” “quickly” or “blood.” For us, MAU is an example of Vietnamese cuisine at its best: bright, fresh and robust. On the East Coast of the United States, “Mau” is slang for “to eat,” as in: “Let’s mau down, everyone!” MAU is a gathering place where friends, family and neighbors come to have a good time.
