Mount Bonnell, the summit peak located in Covert Park, is situated at the highest publicly accessible cliff of Lake Austin (Austin portion of the mighty Colorado River). At it's highest point, it is 775 feet above sea level. With such height, visitors are treated to a romantic and spectacular and unobstructed panoramic view of the rolling hills of Austin and historic Pennybacker Bridge/360 Bridge and especially the downtown area.
Hours of operation and admission fees:
Public park opens year round from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Admission fees: Free and parkings are free too.
